It's A Digital World!

There are so many fabulous crafts out there. I have what most people call Craft ADD. I can never stick to just one craft or art. I love them all. When walking into a craft store or viewing online stores my eyes widen and my mouth starts to water. "What am I going to do today?" I ask myself. Lately, I have found myself engrossed in the digital world of art/crafting. With bottle cap necklaces and scrabble tile pendants being so popular I decided to help those create their one of a kind pieces of wearable art. I have started making digital files! I love it. I spend hours picking the perfect pictures, colors and fonts to create these and then I make sure that they are the best quality possible for print. Now, why you ask, don't I just make the pendants myself and sell them? Well ladies & gentlemen, I could but then it would take my time away from all of the other projects that I want to try out! Plus, making digital art is SO much fun! Here are some samples of work that can be found in my etsy shop!

How do you make bottle caps? Well Etsy seller indieowlcreations has a wonderful quick tutorial for you to get the basic idea. Plus she sells bottle cap supplies for you to try it out!

Interested in scrabble tile pendants? Then purchase this tutorial from apinkpiggy. She also has all of the supplied needed in her store.

Other uses for these digital pieces? Print them and cut them out for tags, scrapbooking and other paper crafts. The great thing about digital art is that once you've purchased it... you can print it over and over!

My Engagement Photos!

I have passed the 7 month mark - and now it is time for Mr. K and I to get our Save The Dates out to all of the lucky people that get to attend our fabulous, unique wedding! (hahaha) I had tons of cute ideas but, like everything else - had a difficult commiting to one idea. And then... it came to me! I will reveal my Save The Dates after I have everything finalized which I have set the deadline for next Friday.

In the meantime, Mr. K's wonderful cousin took a trip to Pittsburgh to shoot our engagement photos. We had a blast and she did such an amazing job. I could not be happier with how they turned out! Aja has that unique, artist's eye.... not to mention a camera to die for! You can check her out at Two Girlz Stuff. If you are in the Dayton, Cincinatti or Columbus area - I highly recommend contacting her to see if she would be available for your shoot!

Without further ado... The Engagement Photos:

We had so much fun... Just playing around in Pittsburgh. We wanted to make sure that we didn't take the shoot too seriously and remained true to who we are!

There are so many cool places in Pittsburgh that would make great photos. Aja brought these frames with her which were such a fun prop to use!

I love this picture of my Fiance! Doesn't he look handsome!

This is just a random, walking down the street shot. Aja did a great job at standing back and letting us interact with each other casually - which resulted in beautiful shots!

We are a unique, humorous couple - and shots like this capture that perfectly!

I LOVE this photo of us!

Aja would kill me if she knew I posted this picture because it is blurry. Joe & I love it though because it was a random, goofy shot that she quickly snapped. We call it our "Dave & Buster's Picture". Can't you just picture it on a brochure or commercial?
More coming soon!

Rub-a-dub-dub... Can't wait to get in the tub!

It's no secret to anyone that I have a "thing" for beauty products. I love them all... drugstore brand, designer brand - it doesn't matter to me! I want to try it all. Well for the last few months I have been eyeballing Etsy's infamous seller GudonyaToo. Finally I took the plunge!

I ordered some of their products over the weekend and I can not wait to get them and try them. Here are the products I ordered:

sMOOchy exfoliating bar:
Salty Dawg Creme Shampoo:

Guydonya Whipped Clean:

Gudonya Whipped Shave:

They have 4oz and 8oz sizes. I bought the smaller one to give it a whirl. If the reviews I read are true... then I will be back for more!
I will let you all know the verdict as soon as I try these out!

Sooo much inspiration ... so little time!

I did it! I finished my crystal monogram cake toppers yesterday! They sparkle and look amazing with a hint of candlelight upon them! :) To be honest though - I thank God that I have an at home job. This took me a couple days and was painstaking! I got to thinking about all you wonderfull ladies that are out there working full time and then trying to plan all of the little details of your wedding day... AND some of you are DIYing it too! I think it's amazing! Some of you though - I am sure lack the time and patience to make something like this - no judgement... I promise!

That is why I decided that I was going to start selling these in my etsy store! For all of my lovely blog readers *you know who you are* I am offering a 25% special if you convo me through etsy to order your custom monogram! Just make sure to let me know that you heard about this through my blog and I will set up a special listing just for you!
