As a proud member of Smitten Soiree, I have the opportunity to come across some of the most talented artists I have ever met. Meet Nicole (Nic) from Nic's Button Buds. I fell in love with her unique twist on traditional wedding bouquets and, of course, had to share her bouquets with you!
I WANT ONE SO STINKING BAD!!!!! AMAZING BROOCH BOUQUET!!!
Gorgeous colors!
For the whole bridal party!!!! What a great souvenir for your ladies to keep after the wedding!
I love pink. Light pink, hot pink, neon pink, baby pink, blush pink... it doesn't matter to me!
Every once in awhile you happen across something so spectacular, it takes your breath away! Well, the other day I stumbled across the most talented, adorable hats I have ever seen! Enter Marie-leigh'chelle Boutique.
I gasped, held my breath, squealed and then promptly contacted her to see if she would mind if I shared her amazing hats with all of you!
What's amazing about Brandi? She takes so much pride in her work. You can tell that each of her hats are lovingly made and 100% original. She also loves to work one on one with customers to create custom designs.
Enough talk right? Show me the hats!
Everyone has a different story as to how they started crafting ... whatever your craft is. Well, ladies and gentlemen I remember being in grade school and spending a lot of my parents money on school supplies. I had to have the best of the best. I had SO much stuff that my younger brother didn't have to buy any school supplies all through school... including college! I had a love of paper, pens, pencils, folders, organization for as long as I can remember.
When Mr. K and I started dating seriously and I met his family I was introduced to the coolest thing I had ever seen... SCRAPBOOKING! It was actually a hobby that I could get away with buying lots of papers, stickers, markers, organizing things! I was hooked! The Queen of Scrapbook? Mr. K's cousin Aja.
Well, needless to say she's super talented. I love checking out her blog for her cute ideas... check out her elf, Benson here. Too. Cute.
On top of it all she is also an amazing photographer! She did our engagement photos that I showed in a previous post. (And yes... she's available for hire!)
But all that aside... *sorry got a little sidetracked* She makes the most amazing labels that are perfect for scrapbooking/cardmaking/journaling. She recently just reopened her store after closing it down last year so that she could spend more time with her family... Did I mention her kids are A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E? Anyway - she had lots and lots of requests to reopen. Her labels are practically famous!!!!
Sometimes, while searching the internet, I come across the most fabulous, wonderful people, blogs and shops! Recently, I met Cameron from Cameron Homemade. She has some of the cutest DIY projects and tutorials. She also has an adorable shop where you can purchase various sewing patterns and in case your not the crafty type - decor and accessories.
Here are just a few things you can find at Cameron Homemade!
Today I met a new friend. Not just any friend, but a super-talented friend! Vera at Bella Card Creations is SO nice and her handmade cards make me drool! Here are just a few of her lovely creations:
